Today we’re making OVEN MEAT POTATO CHEESE PIE!!! I bet you can’t say that 5 times in a row! Carrots, potatoes, shallots, meat, cheese, milk, butter, what more do you want?!
This is really nice food for cold winter days, or like we have them in Belgium: cold summer days. Give it a try! Hope you enjoy it 😀

Ingredients:
– 500 grams (~15 oz) of minced meat (€3.50~$4.2 for 500 grams)
– 4 grated carrots (€0.18~$0.22 for 150 grams)
– about 250 grams (~7.5 oz) of grated cheese (€1~$1.2 for 250 grams)
– 4 finely chopped shallots (€1.97~$2.4 for 1kg)
– about 5 potatoes (€0.99~$1.2 for 5kg)
– olive oil
– milk
– butter
– salt
– pepper

Materials:

– 4 small dishes, if you don’t have them, use 1 big dish

Preparation:

Potatoes
1. Peel and cut your potatoes and cook them in salted water
2. Once they’re done, drain the water
3. Add about 50 grams of butter
4. Add a fair amount of milk
5. Season with some pepper and salt
6. Mash them up!

Meat
1. Take a pan and add some olive oil
2. Wait until it’s hot and add the carrots
3. Let them bake for about 3 to 4 minutes
4. Add the shallots
5. Let them bake for 10 to 20 seconds max.
6. Add the meat
7. Bake it until it’s changed its color

Bring it together
1. Fill up the bottom of your dish with a thin layer of the meat
2. Cover the meat with a layer of mashed potatoes
3. Cover the potatoes with grated cheese
4. Put it in the oven until the cheese has melted
