I am FINALLY making a dessert! Don’t worry, the cheesecake will be coming soon – but for now, this apple dump cake will have to do! This recipe is one of those that doesn’t take a lot of effort (It is only 3 ingredients), and doesn’t take long to cook! It is the perfect recipe if you are a beginner at the Instant Pot, or if you are looking for an easy quick dessert!
This Instant Pot Dump Cake is apple flavored, but you could add any flavor you want! Cherry, peach, blueberry, you name it! They will all work and taste delicious!

This is the Instant Pot I have (yes it is the cheaper one and I love it!):

If you are cooking for 1-2 people I would suggest the 3 Quart. If you are cooking for more, I would suggest the 6 quart!

  2. Oh sounds yummy,,cant wait to try it! Thx so much and hope you are having a safe and happy memorial day!

  3. I'm sorry for this very basic question, but I'm a widower still learning to cook for myself. I just bought my Instant Pot and wanted to make sure what's the best way to store the unit on the counter between uses. With the cover on or off, it may be a little while between uses and was concerned if it made any difference. Thank you for any help.

  4. Thanks for that delicious dessert. Been using my instant pot using your recipes a lot more lately. So far so good.

  5. I have never before seen a ratio of 154 to 0 [likes versus dislikes]. I'm glad no haters have found your lovely channel.

  6. I can't decide between a 3 qt. and a 6 qt. for just me and my husband. I wonder if I will be able to find many recipes for the 3 qt. which would be my first choice in size. Any ideas?

  7. I made this tonight, it’s delicious!! I did end up having to add time a little at a time as it wasn’t done, so my total time on manual was 50 mins. Each time I added time it was fast to come to pressure since it was hot already, that was helpful! I just went by sight, til it looked like yours did. I think mine had to have extra time because my pan was only 6.5” diameter, by 3” tall. I’m assuming yours was wider maybe, so it cooked quicker because of that perhaps. Anyways, thank you very much for the recipe, it’s really good!

  8. This was ah-mayzing!!!! I made it with caramel apple pie filling and white cake mix. I have a the Luxe Mini which is a little 3 quart IP and so I added 5 more minutes and it was perfect.
