Growing up in Indiana there was nothing like sitting out at the pool and chowing down on a couple of pork burgers. That is something that has not happened for a few years now that we have adopted a plant based diet. So I decided to change that and came up with a delicious porkless burger recipe for this summer! I hope you enjoy these as much as my family has!

Recipe:

Gabriel’s Porkless Burgers (Vegan, Oil Free & Grillable)

Ingredients:

-2 cans of black beans (drained & rinsed)
-2 cans of white beans (drained & rinsed)
-1 cup of cooked brown rice
-1 cup of raw quick cooking oats
-1/4th cup vital wheat gluten
-1/3rd cup maple syrup
-2 tbs sage
-1 tbs crushed red pepper flakes
-1 tsp black pepper
-1 tsp onion powder
-1 tsp garlic powder
-1 tsp thyme
-1 tsp paprika
-1/8th tsp clove
-1/8th tsp nutmeg
-1/8th tsp cinnamon

  1. I'm in Indiana, too!! I love your bean burger sliders and I've made them many times. I'm sure these will be favorites as well! I'll add a big slab of a Vadallia onion, too!
