  1. I wonder if it would be a good idea to insert some paper towels next to the lid to keep the excess moisture from diluting the soup mixture so much?

  2. I am so glad to have found you. I never used my crockpot for anything more than making pot roast. Love the recipes and ideas for everyday cooking. Looks like a Crockpot Holiday this year!!! <3  Keep 'em coming!!!

  3. I made this last year in the casserole crock. I put the onions on last and popped it in the oven a few minutes to brown. DELICIOUS!!

  4. Hey Mikey! Hey Aunt Lou! pssstttt I gotta secret… a secret weapon to use against those who say they don't like mushrooms (mostly 'cos of texture like in my household!)… Better Than Bouillon® Mushroom Base!!! 😉 mixed with Cream of Celery or Chicken soup… man-o-man, luscious!

  5. I make this every year several times a year! One of my absolute favorites! I use frozen green beans (2 regular sized bags) and mix in the 1 large can of cream of mushroom soup, a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, dash of pepper, 1/3 of the fried onions (tried it with the cheddar ones last year-amazing btw!), Splash of milk but not much because we like it a little thicker. Threw it in the Crock-Pot on low for about 2-3 hours then about 10 minutes before serving I topped it with the remaining fried onions. It was awesome! Hopefully y'all try it this way soon and if so let me know what y'all think!

  6. stop having all that fun at the end lmao yum i have to make this i've never had green bean casserole i've seen it several times but never made it love green beans love fried onions love mushroom soup! i wonder what it'd taste like with bacon bits? to much flavor contrast maybe?

  7. Mom had both a single and a double electric burner/hot plate unit she used during holidays or big meals with the family. She'd have the stove top and all three hot plates going at once. I don't know how she juggled all those dishes cooking at once.

  8. Mr. Goode looking, Chris and Aunt Lou… You are so much fun to watch and you have GREAT recipes!! I love using my crockpot, however it's not often I would use it for every day meals. But like Mikey says "real estate" is the key to freeing up the stove, not to mention saving time washing multiple pots and pans! With Thanksgiving tomorrow I will need all the room possible. I plan on using it for your green bean casserole recipe. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and I look forward to more of your videos!
