THE FOOD REMIXERS 04: CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE 🍫🎂

Welcome back to The Food Remixers! We’re going all over the world to find the best food we possibly can, bringing those ideas back to the BOSH! kitchen to remix it totally vegan for you! 🌱

This episode takes us to Soho in London, where we go in search of the best Chocolate Mousse Cake we can find. We didn’t find any vegan ones, but found some beautiful looking cakes that we wanted to replicate.

Our chocolate mousse cake is incredible, make from the magic ingredient ‘aquafaba’, or chickpea water! We know this sounds strange but it gives the cake that wonderful mousse texture. Coupled with a biscuity base and a smooth chocolate top, this cake is a winner.

  1. I'll be in London in October so thanks for the inspiration on where to go! The cake looks loooovely and I'll definitely be making it myself, but you guys should definitely open a few cafes if you ever get the chance cause I would be in there every single day! <3

  2. Congratulations on the Sunday Times bestsellers spot! I bought my copy a couple of weeks ago and was chatting about it on Wycombe Sound (our local radio station) the other day. The host, Claire, was like, "I have a copy of that too – I interviewed them!" I told her off because she hasn't been using it, I made peshwari naan yesterday and someone from Instagram was like, "IS THAT FROM THE BOSH COOKBOOK?"

  3. Looks gorgeous. I made a vat of your bolognese last night- so scrumptious. I have never dared to use aquafaba for fear of potential issues with gas afterwards. Can anyone offer reassurance?
