  4. Miss Phyllis you make it look so nice and easy. I have trouble with the meringue making the edge of the crust soggy, would you know why that happens? I'm about to give up on meringue on my pies

  5. That pie looked just like my grandmother's pie. She always made milk chocolate cream pie. This is the best youtube site, and I've seen a lot of them!! Thank you

  6. My grandmother also used to make a lemon cream pie. And it did not look like most lemon cream pie that I've seen other people do. It looked like a coconut cream pie that same creamy texture. Not a yellow jello looking texture. Do you have a lemon pie on here?

  7. Phyllis to The Cutting Board underneath your mixer is really noisy on that on your surface there thank you enjoy your videos

  8. Just like my momma use to make! ❤️ I also have this without the eggs for Chocolate gravy over buttered biscuits! Just cocoa, sugar, cornstarch with the milk till thick and then some good ole buttered biscuits! Your homemade biscuits would be awesome! Thanks for the memories!

  12. Dear Phyllis, I have frozen fruit pies before and I know they freeze well. I know that the sweet potato, squash, and pumpkin does too. I was wondering does the pudding meringue pies freeze well or not, I have always waited the day before to make them? Thank You.. lol Mike just walked by and said for Mike for Thanksgiving. He had me in tears from laughing. I asked him what I got in return, he said a Latte That is a bargain… lol

  14. I Remember this being the way my mother and grandmother made Chocolate Cream Pies. Soooo good !Why not use clear vanilla when making the egg whites for the meringue ? Yes meringue is better with more sugar !I love your videos because you cook so much like my mother and dear grandmother did ( now both gone ).
