Chicken Pot Pie Recipe | Chicken Pot Pie With Biscuits



This is a pot pie recipe I made with leftover chicken that I smoked. I used canned biscuits to make the crust. The stock was made using the 2 chicken carcasses, but you could use a pre-made stock or bullion. The ingredients were
chicken
chicken stock or vegetable stock
mixed vegetables
celery
onions
flour and either oil or butter for roux

Instead of making a roux, you can substitute the flour and oil/butter with a condensed soup of your choosing.

VEGAN MINCE PIES – fat free with gluten free options



-ingredients-
-1 cup flour (i used wholemeal spelt. for gluten free i would use a mix of rice & buckwheat flour with a tsp of xanthan gum)
-1/2 cup coconut flour (defatted kind, not ground coconut. can replace with oats, but haven’t tried this yet)
6 medjool dates
1/4 cup water

1/2 cup dried cranberries
1 cup sultanas
1 cup raisins
2 chopped apples
1-1/2 cups orange juice
extra water if mince is too dry
add a little brandy or sherry to make them more traditional

2tsp cinnamon
1tsp ginger
1/2tsp cloves

Vinnie’s Vittles Mom’s Pecan Pie



Mom’s Pecan Pie

Ingredients
3 eggs (beaten)
1 TBS flour
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
3 TBS butter
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup corn syrup
1 uncooked pie shell

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix all ingredients together till well blended. Pour into pie shell and bake for 10 mins at 400 degrees. Next, turn down the temp to 350 degrees and bake an additional 40 minutes. Allow to cool before serving.
