  5. thanks chef John I made this for the third time today. First time making the stock too! The first time, it was great but hot because of the cyanne…or maybe a fresh hot pepper.
    The second time, I couldnt find the video so I tried to make it from memory…plus, I didnt have any celery. It came out hot again…Im sure it was the hot pepper that time…and I put too much tyme in it…so…I thought it was ok but my wife and family wouldn't eat it. She said, "Who would put peppers in chicken soup?" When I found your recipe again, I said, "chef John would!"
    Ok, third time I made your stock even with the ketchup…my wife caught me putting that in…so I followed the recipes exactly and it came out great…not even hot this time.

  6. All was great except the breast wasn’t close to being done at 45 min. Ended up cooking it close to an hour and a half.
