Cranberry Apple Pie | Juli’s Kitchen



Thanksgiving is tomorrow so Erina and I made a very festive pie for the holidays! Enjoy this cranberry apple pie with your family, friends or yourself. tbh it’s that good and I won’t judge you for eating all of it!

Warm Apple Pie



Here’s the recipe:

WARM APPLE PIE
2 oz. (60ml) Rum
8 oz. (240ml) Apple Cider
Cinnamon Sticks
Garnish: Whipped Cream/Ground Cinnamon

PREPARATION
1. Add apple cider and cinnamon sticks to a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil. Simmer for 10 minutes.
2. Strain out cinnamon sticks and stir in rum.
3. Pour mix into glass and top with whipped cream and ground cinnamon. Enjoy responsibly!

Apple Pie Float



Here’s the recipe:

APPLE PIE FLOAT
1 oz. (30ml) Cinnamon Whiskey
1 oz. (30ml) Vanilla Vodka
5 oz. (150ml) Apple Cider
Vanilla Ice Cream
Garnish: Cinnamon Stick/Cinnamon

PREPARATION
1. Add vodka, whiskey and cider to an ice filled shaking glass. Shake to mix.
2. Strain mix into serving glass and top with ice cream.
3. Sprinkle with cinnamon and garnish accordingly. Enjoy responsibly!

You’ve made oatmeal in the microwave and you’ve probably made it on the stove top…but have you made it in the oven? Today we take your oatmeal game to the next level with this high protein oatmeal BAKED APPLE PIE!

Apple Mix:
2 Your Choice Apples

Filling:
2 Large Whole Eggs
8 Ounces Unsweetened Apple Sauce
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1 1/2 Cups (120g) Rolled Oats
2 Scoops Vanilla Protein Powder (I prefer 100% Whey or Lean Pro8)
1 Cup (8 Ounces) Unsweetened Almond Milk
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar Substitute
3/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Salt

Calories in each serving (makes 4 BIG bowls):
Calories: 293
Fat: 7g
Saturated Fat: 2.2g
Sodium: 160.5mg
Carbs: 37.5g
Fiber: 5.5g
Sugar: 13.5g
Protein: 20g

Calories in the whole recipe:
Calories: 1172
Fat: 28g
Saturated Fat: 9g
Sodium: 642mg
Carbs: 150g (Net Carbs: 128g)
Fiber: 22g

Protein: 80g

How to make:
1. Chop up your Apples
2. Lightly toss your Apple Mix around until your pieces are coated
3. Combine your Filling ingredients together in a bowl and mix until smooth
4. Add your Apple Mix into the bottom of a baking dish
5. Pour your Filling on top
6. Bake on 375F/190C for around 40 minutes

Tip:

Add anything on top that you want like some sugar free caramel!

Filling
2 large apples peeled, cored, chopped
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons cider (I used water)
1 teaspoon cornstarch

Dough
2 cups flour sifted
4 tablespoons butter diced
2 egg yolks
1/3 cup hot milk
1/4 teaspoon salt

Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons milk
