Warm Apple Pie



Here’s the recipe:

WARM APPLE PIE
2 oz. (60ml) Rum
8 oz. (240ml) Apple Cider
Cinnamon Sticks
Garnish: Whipped Cream/Ground Cinnamon

PREPARATION
1. Add apple cider and cinnamon sticks to a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil. Simmer for 10 minutes.
2. Strain out cinnamon sticks and stir in rum.
3. Pour mix into glass and top with whipped cream and ground cinnamon. Enjoy responsibly!

Perfect Apple Pie



A classic apple pie takes a shortcut with easy Pillsbury® unroll-fill refrigerated pie crust.

Recipe:

Ingredients

Crust

1 box Pillsbury™ refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box

Filling

6 cups thinly sliced, peeled apples (6 medium) SAVE $
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Steps
1. Heat oven to 425°F. Place 1 pie crust in ungreased 9-inch glass pie plate. Press firmly against side and bottom.
2. In large bowl, gently mix filling ingredients; spoon into crust-lined pie plate. Top with second crust. Wrap excess top crust under bottom crust edge, pressing edges together to seal; flute. Cut slits or shapes in several places in top crust.
3. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown. Cover edge of crust with 2- to 3-inch wide strips of foil after first 15 to 20 minutes of baking to prevent excessive browning. Cool on cooling rack at least 2 hours before serving.

Individual Salted Caramel & Banana Cream Pies | Cupcake Jemma



I promised you a pie and you’re gonna get a pie! Well, 6 pies actually! These pies take Banana Cream Pies up a few notches to include Salted Caramel Custard AND Chocolate Pastry shells!! They are LUSH!

Recipe –
For the chocolate shortcrust pastry…
225g plain flour
20g cocoa powder
2 tbsp icing sugar, sifted
pinch of salt
150g very cold butter, unsalted
3 tbsp ice-cold water

For the Salted Caramel custard filling…
110g caster sugar
45ml water
400ml double cream
pinch of salt
1 egg + 3 egg yolks

For the topping
1-2 bananas
150g double cream
75g creme fraiche
dark chocolate for grating on top

McDonalds SALTED CARAMEL PIE FOOD REVIEW – Greg’s Kitchen



Hey guy’s, l thought l would start doing some product reviews of different smaller or single food items, be them chocolates, chips, cookies, side items, whatever is new on the market to see what they look like, how they taste, how much they are etc. What l am trying today is the new McDonald’s Salted Caramel Pie. I’m really keen to try one out so lets go and buy one and see what it tastes like! This could be the longest I have ever had to wait in a drive through! I hope you enjoy todays food review 😀
